SYSTEMS PROJECT ANALYST

Position Title:                    Systems Project Analyst (County Funded Position)

Job Location:                     Court Administration, Third Judicial Circuit, Florida

Annual Salary:                   $ 65,000.00 (Successful candidate will be hired at the minimum salary)

 

JOB SUMMARY: This position requires strong technical understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, virtual machine and host management, and audio/visual recording systems (troubleshooting) and experience in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot, implement, install, update, and maintain: all desktop and portable computing solutions, any directly connected or network connected peripheral equipment, all software solutions, wired and wireless network infrastructure and connectivity solutions
  • Virtualization of server-based systems, Virtual Host operating systems (VMWare), analog and network-based audio mixer equipment (Symetrix, BiAmp), network-based audio network technology (Audinate-Dante), analog and network-based audio-visual infrastructure, teleconferencing equipment and infrastructure Zoom and MS Teams)
  • Network hardware and software security, Virtual Private Network solutions
  • Webpage design construction and maintenance
  • Email (local and cloud based)
  • Digital Court Reporting and recording solutions (OpenCourt), IP and analog camera’s
  • Microsoft Windows 11 and Office 365 applications, Windows Server and Linux based OS configuration Microsoft SQL
  • Document Viewer solution (ICMS)
  • Archival retention and recovery of data, workstation cloning technology, all data backup solutions, storage area network solutions, cloud-based backup solutions
  • Network cable installation and testing, specialized cable construction for configuration and connectivity of all types of IT related equipment
  • Active Directory and DNS configuration, user account creation and archive
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of user documentation or instructions
  • Conduct training or provide materials for training of staff relative to systems
  • Ensures that system documentation is kept up-to-date
  • Provide assistance, research, and recommend for new technologies used within this organization

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience in support of Apple and Android smartphones preferred. Experience in creating and supporting automated deployments of software.
  • Skill in applying new technologies, soft skills and procedures;.
  • Knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, policies, personal computers, operating systems and related software applications. Recommends changes to improve operational efficiencies; Knowledge of computer operations procedures and systems.
  • Ability to process information logically.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret computer program data.
  • Ability to identify and define user task needs and/or conduct short range and long range project planning studies.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate technical data processing information effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and two years of experience as described above; or
  • A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems and one year of experience as described above; or
  • Four years of experience as described above and either (1) completion of a 720 classroom hour program of study from a vocational/technical school or accredited community college in an area of data processing (excluding data entry), or (2) 60 semester or 90 quarter hours of college course work from an accredited institution which includes four courses in computer science or management information systems
  • Experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education
  • Completion of a one-year program of study from a vocational/technical school in an area of data processing (excluding data entry) can substitute for one year of the required experience

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Full-Time poisition with occasional after-hours or on-call duties in response to security incidents or other technology related problems requiring immediate remediation. Professional office-based with periodic travel for training or collaboration across court circuits.
