WHEREAS, Florida Statute 102. 141 specifically sets guidelines for substitutions for county canvassing boards, and

WHEREAS, Suwannee County Judge William R. Slaughter, II is temporarily unable to serve as a member of the canvassing board for Suwannee County, from August 22, 2008 to August 31, 2008, and

WHEREAS, Circuit Judge David W. Fina is a qualified elector of Suwannee County and is not otherwise disqualified from serving on the Suwannee County Canvassing Board, it is therefore

ORDERED that Circuit Judge David W. Fina is hereby appointed as the substitute member of the Suwannee County Canvassing Board from August 22, 2008 to August 31, 2008.
