ALL COURTHOUSES IN THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW OCTOBER 1st, 2024. COURT HEARINGS WILL RESUME AS PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED, BOTH IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL HEARINGS.
WHEREAS, Gregory S. Parker was recently elected for the circuit court seat that is open due to the retirement of the Hon. Judge John W. Peach.
WHEREAS, the people of Madison County would be best served by having a circuit judge located within the county to promptly and efficiently resolve circuit court matters.
WHEREAS, the people of the Third Judicial Circuit as a whole would be best served by having their judicial officials located throughout the geographic region.
WHEREAS, Gregory S. Parker has practiced in nearly every major area of the law, including civil, criminal, real property, probate, commercial litigation, and family law, thus allowing him to immediately meet the diverse needs of the people of Madison County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT:
ORDERED that effective upon taking office on January 6, 2009, Gregory S. Parker shall be assigned to serve in Madison County, Florida. Investiture ceremonies will be in the Madison County Courthouse on Friday, January 9, 2009, at 1:30 p.m.                           Â
