WHEREAS, Florida Statute 102. 141 specifically sets guidelines for substitutions for county canvassing boards, and
WHEREAS, Dixie County Supervisor of Elections, Starlet E. Cannon, is facing opposition in the 2008 election, and
WHEREAS, no other member of the Dixie County Board of County Commissioners is able to serve as a canvassing board member due to conflict or opposition, and
WHEREAS, Angie Bush is a qualified elector of Dixie County and is not otherwise disqualified from serving on the Dixie County Canvassing Board, it is therefore
ORDERED that Angie Bush is hereby appointed as the substitute member of the Dixie County Canvassing Board until such time as her services in this capacity are no longer needed for the 2008 elections.                           Â
